LETTERHEADS AND ENVELOPES
Letterheads can be printed as Laser Safe, thermography (aka regular raised printing), flat printing or as a combination of flat and either thermography or Laser Safe. Laser Safe printing is just like thermography but can withstand the high heat of laser printing. If the look and feel of raised printing is desired, it is strongly recommended that all envelopes and letterheads going through a laser printer be printed as Laser Safe. Letterheads and envelopes printed flat can also be passed through a laser printer. Letterheads and envelopes which will only be used with other printing devices such as ink jet printers can be printed with either flat or thermography, saving you the additional cost of Laser Safe. Laser Safe only applies to products with spot color printed items. Full color products are printed as flat. |
